Our History

Kenneth and Gloria’s journey into ministry began in 1966 when God instructed Kenneth, at nearly 30 years old, to attend classes at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Kenneth and Gloria Copeland embark on their ministry journey after God instructs Kenneth to attend classes at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla. Kenneth and Gloria immerse themselves in learning about faith and God's Word. Despite financial challenges, they experience God's provision and peace.

1967

A Clear Calling

Kenneth Copeland Ministries Founded

Kenneth Copeland receives a clear call to ministry while praying in the Arkansas Riverbed. He commits to preaching the gospel to the nations.

1973

Ministry Foundations

Believer’s Voice of Victory Newsletter Begins

This four-page newsletter (now a 32-page, full color monthly magazine) is sent all over the world.

Kenneth Copeland Evangelistic Association

The Kenneth Copeland Evangelistic Association is established, later becoming Kenneth Copeland Ministries.

1975

Radio Ministry

KCM launches its radio ministry, broadcasting on 10 stations. Within a year, the broadcast expands to over 500 stations in the U.S. and Canada.

1976

First International Ministry Office

KCM Canada Established

Kenneth Copeland Ministries establishes its Canadian office, marking KCM’s first international ministry. Since then, KCM has expanded to Australia (1979), Africa (1982), Europe (1982), Ukraine (1994) and Colombia (2015).

New Ground

First weeklong Anaheim Believers’ Victory Seminar is held in the Anaheim Convention Center.

I Want My People Well!

Gloria Copeland begins teaching Healing School in Atlanta, Ga.

Television Ministry

KCM begins a weekly television broadcast.

KCM launches the daily Believer’s Voice of Victory broadcast, reaching millions worldwide.

1996

Digital Presence

KCM Website Launch

KCM establishes its new website, providing global access to resources, events and broadcasts.

1997

New Church

Eagle Mountain International Church breaks ground for new sanctuary on KCM property.

1999

Serving Our Partners

KCM completes the bottom floor of the new Partner Service (production) Center.

2006

Riding on the High Places of Earth

KCM receives a Cessna Citation X aircraft, a premier cross-continental private jet, which was commemorated by an Elite CX Team celebration.

2007

Taking Care of Our Partners and Friends

KCM completes the Partner Service Center at The Revival Capital of the World.

2015

New Ventures In Broadcasting

VICTORY Channel (originally BVOVN)

KCM launches the Believer’s Voice of Victory Network (now VICTORY Channel) with 24/7 programming focused on faith, healing, finances and relationships.

2018

Raising Up Anointed Leaders

Kennth Copeland Bible College

KCM launches Kenneth Copeland Bible College, Aug. 7. KCBC Canada was launched in Langley, British Columbia, on Aug. 28, 2023.

Present

Continuing the Mission—Global Outreach

Kenneth Copeland continues to travel worldwide, spreading the gospel and ministering to millions. KCM’s outreach extends through more and more media platforms, as well as through international offices, impacting lives globally with the message of hope, promise and faith in Jesus Christ.
